Our logo is combination of our rocket ship icon and our wordmark. Our icon conveys upward momentum and power and our wordmark emphasizes our brand name, Lifter
The wordmark is set in the Nexa typeface. "Lifter" is set in Nexa Bold (600 weight) and "LMS" is set in Nexa Light (200 weight).
Icon #
In cases when the LifterLMS brand has already been established we may use the icon on its own. While the icon can exist without the wordmark, the wordmark should never exist without the icon.
Sizing #
By adhering to the minimum sizing specifications for our logo and icon, we ensure that the legibility and visual impact of our logo are never compromised.

Free Space #
The logo requires sufficient free space between the logo and any surrounding elements.
The clear space should be equal to at least half the height of the icon.
Backgrounds #
Full Color Logo
The full color logo should only be used on a white or light grey background.
The full color logo should only be placed on white or very light grey areas of photographs.

Single-Color Variants
The single-color logos will work well on top of photographs and various background colors.
When possible, use the single-color white logo on the brand blue or on the brand gradient background.
The white single-color logo is always preferred, however when this variant does not provide sufficient contrast with the background the black or grey single-color logos may also be used.

Name #
Our name is LifterLMS, stylized as a single, camel-case wordmark. The combination of our brand name, "Lifter", and our product category "LMS" (Learning Management System) are combined to create our name.

Gradient #
The LifterLMS brand gradient may be used as an alternative to the brand's primary blue color for backgrounds and large areas of color in graphics and illustrations.
The gradient should be used at a 45deg angle from the bottom left to the top right of the element. The gradient starts with the alternate blue color and extends to the primary blue color.
Typeface #
LifterLMS uses two typefaces, Nexa and Montserrat.
Nexa is reserved exclusively for use in the LifterLMS logo while Montserrat is used for all other text in design for both web and print.
The Nexa family is characterized by excellent legibility in both web & print design areas. It's well-finished geometric design makes it ideal for use in both headlines.
Montserrat is a free and open source font inspired by the urban typograhpy found in posters in the Montserrat neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The font is licensed under, the SIL Open Font License. It is made available via Google Fonts and a GitHub project.

Our typographic scale allows for 8 different size variations, 6 headlines and 2 body text sizes.
